With The Howland Company‘s thrilling 2025.26 theatre season, we are very excited to share our “New Heights” campaign, and we would love for you to be a part of it.
The Howland Company is built on the belief that live theatre and storytelling has the power to challenge, inspire, and connect a community. We are an artist-led and art-driven independent theatre company in Toronto, committed to creating urgent, thrilling, and thought-provoking work. Fall 2025: The Canadian Premiere of THE WELKIN by Tony Award nominated playwright Lucy Kirkwood.

The World Premiere of THAT WHICH IS HEARD
Official Selection of the 2025 DOC NYC Festival
A new short documentary born from a workshop performance The Howland Company produced last year with actress Shruti Kothari (The Stratford Festival), following her remarkable journey of recovery and creative rediscovery.
Spring 2026: The World Premiere of TAKE RIMBAUD by acclaimed Toronto playwright Susanna Fournier.

A daring new piece commissioned by The Howland Company, presented in partnership with Buddies in Bad Times Theatre.
