Khadijah Roberts-Abdullah

Khadijah Roberts-Abdullah is a graduate of the Humber Theatre Performance Program. With a physically based approach, she was able to develop an understanding of devised ensemble and original work. When she’s not acting, writing, moving through space, or pretending that she’s the “illest rapper alive”, you can find her in a kitchen, concocting something divine. Most recently Khadijah played the role of Tara in Brandon Crone’s Contempt as well as Black Woman in Jackie Sibblies Drury’s We Are Proud to Present… under the direction of Ravi Jain. You may have also caught a glimpse of her in Guillermo Del Toro’s latest feature film, Crimson Peak. Other notable credits include playing St. Monica in Unit 102’s production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Othello in Go Play Producing’s Othello, and Abe Lincoln in First Act’s award winning production of Hair. Listen out for her upcoming audio book release of The Book of Negroes, where she brings to life one of African Canadian literature’s most iconic heroines.
